She worked as a research intern at the Comparing Climate Change Political Networks (COMPON) project, which tests the effects of social organizations, cultural significance and political mobilization on national responses to climate change and seeks to bring to light elements that can assist in understanding of why nations react differently to climate change. COMPON seeks to understand aspects that explain the possible reasons why international agreements are so fragile, as well as the few actions taken due to the recognized high risk on the impacts of climate change. The project has as its object of analysis the public policy network of 19 countries around the world and engages collaborative efforts to compare, through the Social Network Analysis (SNA), discourses and actions on the policy surrounding the theme Climate Change. Analyzes reveal that nations respond to demands in different ways, with some cases having more effective and well-implemented responses. COMPON was divided into two phases. The first is based on a media analysis to investigate approaches on climate change. The second performs network analysis to investigate how various organizations engage in climate issues.
